Synopsis:

Finding your eternal soulmate--easy.

Stopping a true-love-hungry evil--not so much…

After breaking a centuries-old romantic curse, Emma Connor is (almost) glad to get back to normal problems. Although...it's not easy dealing with the jealous cliques and gossip that rule her exclusive Upper East Side prep, even for a sixteen-year-old newbie witch. Having the most-wanted boy in school as her eternal soul mate sure helps ease the pain-especially since wealthy, rocker-hot Brendan Salinger is very good at staying irresistibly close....

But something dark and hungry is using Emma and Brendan's deepest fears to reveal damaging secrets and destroy their trust in each other. And Emma's crash course in über-spells may not be enough to keep them safe…or to stop an inhuman force bent on making their unsuspected power its own.

My rating: ★★★★★

I love anything with magic and witches! So yes, I loved Spellcaster...I loved it, I loved it, I loved it! And Brendan...totally swoon-worthy! *swoons* <<< See! ;)

So, in Spellbound, Emma and Brendan defeated the curse that had been haunting them for many, many lifetimes. But that doesn't mean they can have their "Happily Ever After." A crazy, evil, magical, and probably love-sick...erm, person (trying not to spoil it here) is trying to tear Emma and Brendan apart. Even worse, this certain person is even trying to hurt Emma! Will Emma and Brendan ever get their "Happily Ever After?" *cue dramatic music*

As I mentioned before (4 times, to be exact), I absolutely loved this novel! I loved everything about it: the storyline, the characters, descriptions, scenes, etc. It was super interesting and kept my attention all the way through. I mean, how can you not be curious to find out whether Emma and Brendan will be able to defeat this psychopath after all they're been through! And the psychopath...totally did not see their identity coming! Very shocking actually.

The characters were fantastical! Emma proved to be a great heroine: strong and very smart. Brendan... *sigh* He's such a sweet guy...anyone know where I can get my very own Brendan??

Even the side characters were awesome! Angelique is definitely one of my favorites, and I also really liked the bubbly Ashley.

I'm sad that there will be no more Emma and Brendan, I really liked them :( But I thought they had a great story to tell.

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If not, what do you think? Does it sound like something you might want to read? Leave me a comment! :)
