Synopsis:

Mellow Summers just wanted to go to college and get her film degree. She moved into a furnished apartment with her friend Jackie only to find that it already had a tenant: the ghost of a girl who was murdered a year earlier. Now it is up to Mellow to not only discover who the murderer is, but to prove it as well.

With the help of the ghost Rachel, Mellow sets out to solve the year old mystery. She soon finds out that she may have taken on more than she can handle. Pursued by someone who wants the identity of the killer to remain a secret, Mellow will have to use all her resources to outwit him and help the spirit of Rachel move on.

My rating: ★★★★★

Mellow Summers has just moved to Vermont to go to school and get a degree in filming. Best part: Her best friend Jackie decided to move with her! :D Little do they know that the apartment they just moved into belonged to a murder victim. But said murder victim, Rachel, lets them know what's up right away, lol. So Rachel asks Mel to help her find her killer and she agrees. But no one said it would be easy, because what ensues is a hilarious and equally dangerous adventure!

And it was SO much fun! I love a good murder mystery and this one was pretty great! I loved the cast of characters... Mellow is awesome, if not a little too curious for her own good, Greg is oh-so sweet and such a romantic, Jackie is great too, and Rachel is a lot of fun and quite feisty. Greg's cousin Jack is so gullible and hilarious... I just had a lot of fun with these characters!

Oh and don't get me started on the many hilarious events! I love a book that can make me laugh out loud! But there were also some serious situations connected to Rachel's murder. I could not believe those a**holes!

Another thing I loved about this book is that even though our characters are in their mid-20s, the content of the book is mild enough to be considered YA! You don't see many of those around!

Anyway, this was a very fun, light-hearted read that was exactly what I needed! Highly recommend if you like murder mysteries and ghosts! (And you got nothing to lose! It's free! :D)
